The Plant
After meeting and interviewing Carolee Kokola, the head engineer of The Plant, and three other non-profit organizations we learned a plethora of history behind the construction of this facility. The Plant was originally a slaughterhouse and then was recently renovated into a facility that makes cleaner energy. In addition, it houses many other nonprofit organizations with the same intentions of community building and making the world a better and greener place.
